Description
The Flexmedia XM CANPLIN1 module is a versatile tool specifically designed to test CAN (FD, High-Speed, Low-Speed, Single-Wire) and LIN connections.
A single Flexmedia XM CANPLIN1 module can test at the same time a CAN and a LIN interface:
- CAN transceiver is software selectable among FD, High-Speed, Low-Speed or Single-Wire;
- for CAN FD and High-Speed a 120 Ω termination resistor is internally selectable;
- CAN SIC (Signal Improvement Capability) support;
- LIN interface can be configured as Line Master or Line Slave.
CAN SIC enhances the robustness of Controller Area Network (CAN) communication, a critical component in modern vehicles for ensuring seamless and reliable data exchange among various electronic control units (ECUs).
SIC is the abbreviation for Signal Improvement Capability. A SIC transceiver allows building more complex network topologies at higher communication bit rates.
